Attachment Parenting
According to Attachment Parenting International, "Attachment Parenting is a
philosophy based in the practice of nurturing parenting practices that create
strong emotional bonds, also known as secure attachment, between the infant and
parent(s). This style of parenting encourages responsiveness to the infant or
child's emotional needs, and develops trust that their emotional needs will be met.
As a result, this strong attachment helps the child develop secure, empathic,
peaceful, and enduring relationships."

Wow is that powerful! And it all sounds so good in theory but what does it take to
actually put it into practice? Work, dedication, information and most importantly
pure love. Sounds easy right?

If you are overwhelmed or a little confused there are many resources at your
fingertips to point you in the right direction. But just remember that the key to good
parenting is to trust your instincts and listen to your heart.
